This system that we're building implies (and relies on!) MassProliferationOfWiki, but wiki are still sort of difficult to make, if your machine isn't set up right. But I've set this computer (taoriver.net) up right, so it's easy for me to make them right now.

So: If you want a wiki, email me, and I'll set it up for you on this computer.

I'm not a good sys-admin, so please be patient with me. I can program, but maintaining httpd.conf, filesystems, and DNS just isn't my thing. I'm amazed I've gotten this far.

Nodes to Write

• DecentralizedServers - decentralized over wiki servers (generally)

• DecentralizedConceptMapping - decentralized concept graph. (DNS features DecentralizedServers, but is Centralized in terms of control.) - should probably have WikiKM page as well.

• NodesLocal - a local of nodes, considered together, inter-linked. (WikiKM?)

• WikiProblems - problems with the present state of wikidom.

• Create WikiFutures.wiki.taoriver.net

• Create WikiKM.wiki.taoriver.net ..? ("Wiki Knowledge Management")

  • would be for theoretical ideas tied to wiki. For example, IntelligenceFailure, IntelligenceIntegration, Ontology and Semantics, all within the context of WIKI. Not business, not personal notebook systems, but from the perspective of on-line WIKI.

• Place the idea: "Delegations General Rule: If it is likely that someone with a particular idea in mind might come to your wiki, but they should actually place the idea at another wiki, then you should delegate to it."

• Place the idea: "Delegations Annoyances Handling Rule: Even if there is no real relationship, but just a popular guilt-by-association that is frequently annoying the site, you should place a delegation there."

• for wikifutures: the link "WikiNode" will be on same order of importance as "RecentChanges"

Ideas to Place

• Probably want glossary, abbreviation lookup, on a per site basis. Licensing information. Wiki standards? StandardPages?
